Inspired by his Italian grandmother, an exceptional cook also.  The founder, Bob Fenoglietto, pursed a career in the culinary arts with a goal of one day owning his own fine restaurant.  However, during his apprenticeship training with the Chef's Association of Pittsburgh, he discovered his gift and passion for prep & pastries

Upon completing his training as a certified Dietary Manager and Certified Working Chef, Bob opened his own bakery, and a few years later decided to narrow the focus of the business exclusively to offering exceptional wedding cakes.  Unencumbered by the daily retail demands faced by many traditional bake shops, Bob was able to devote his full attention to serving the special needs of brides and grooms.

In 1994, Bob's wife, Leanne, joined the business in a like-minded pursuit of excellence.  Together, Bob and Leanne have recognized the importance of ongoing professional education, as evidenced by their Certificates of Achievement for coursework at the prestigious House of Clarenton, with European Master Confectioner, Julie Bashore, as instructor.
